September President\u2019s Message
\nI hope everyone enjoyed the summer and the good weather although it was not as warm as usual. On July 27th several WEN poets had the opportunity to read their work at the Eighth Annual International Poetry Reading of the Women\u2019s Federation for World Peace Canada. It was a real pleasure to be inspired by the spoken word. I would like to thank Zohra Zoberi and Lilly Tadin for the invite. Our next meeting is Saturday, September 20th and our speaker is Anita Sechesky, a best selling author and life coach. The topic will be \u201cAre you really living without limitations?\u201d<\/p>\n

WEN Board Begins New Term
\nAs announced at the AGM, your new WEN Board begins their duties this month for the 2014-2015 year. I wish to thank those who volunteered to be on the Board. Here once again is the list of Board Executives.<\/p>\n

Goals for 2014-2015
\nAs part of the first Board meeting, we will be discussing goals and initiatives for the upcoming year. Some thoughts I have are to implement a short story contest and to carry out a membership drive. We welcome any ideas from the membership. Feel free to talk to any one on the Board with your suggestions.<\/p>\n
